Without the movement and rhythm of the dance, the music loses all vitality. And so, the ballet as a doorway to human expression depends on both the music and dance.

Jean Baptiste Lully (1632-1687), the Italian-born French composer who founded the national French opera is not just a court composer to Louis XIV, but also the choreographer, who created ballets for Molière’s plays court. This probably explains why you never had production as an accompaniment. However, the theatrical productions of the eighteenth century has become a composer and his music away from ballet to ballroom dance.

This phase of sustained itself even in the nineteenth century, with the exception of pieces of Russian classical composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky (1840-1893), which includes the Nutcracker, Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty.

In the twentieth century, however, the ballet returned to the spotlight. Again, that venerable art form, choreographers looked at the works of classical composers such as Mozart, Bach, Vivaldi, Chopin, Brahms, Handel and performed ballet, art and dance as well.

Many agree that the ballet owes its existence to the likes of those who are both composers and choreographers. As the musicians, the kind, of course, pay close attention to ballet suite after the rhythmic structure exactly. Anyone who does not understand the music can easily create a ballet that looks to itself at the mercy of the big classical piece below the initial expression of the true nature of the piece. Instead, the production is a kind of movement that is free and art and beauty. The experts prefer to know when it is appropriate to go against the grain, to the accompaniment of the periods of increase, which dramatically capture the audience’s attention and let them breath.

As the dawn of a new era of music and dance, it is undeniable that the ballet will also change. However, as the music and dance has always been best friends, the ballet will continue to find a new identity in the ever-changing music of today.
